Door Wreath ~ The Florist’s Hedgerow Autumn Wreath

No two walks along the hedgerow are ever quite the same, and neither are these wreaths. The Florist’s Hedgerow Autumn Wreath takes its lead from what our florists find and love at this time of year. The hedgerows bring changing colour, berries and wonderful textures as autumn unfolds.

Our florists handcraft each wreath on an oasis base. They start with layers of autumn foliage, then add a changing collection of rosehips, berries, herbs, seed heads, turning leaves and other hedgerow finds. Deep reds sit alongside rusty oranges, faded greens and softer natural tones. Smaller details bring even more texture and character to the finished wreath.

There is no fixed recipe and we think that is rather the point. Our florists choose what catches their eye and what looks particularly lovely that day. One wreath might feature an abundance of rosehips and berries, while another might bring together beautiful seed heads, herbs and richly coloured leaves.

Handcrafted by Our Florists

Every handcrafted autumn door wreath starts at the florist bench. We layer the leaves by hand, working berries and pistache through the design as we go. Curled leaves sit at different angles to create movement and that lovely falling-leaf effect. Finally, a long rust velvet ribbon completes the wreath.

Choose Standard, created on a 20cm Oasis wreath base, or Luxury, on a larger 25cm base for a fuller, more generous design.
