We love working with colour, and Golden Hour Autumn Luxury Bouquet gives us plenty to play with. Orange gerberas sit alongside deep purple lisianthus, yellow and burnt sienna roses, with little lime green santini appearing between the larger flowers.
Then there are the oak leaves. Autumn is one of the few times we get to use foliage as much for its colour as its shape. As the leaves turn from green through rusty orange and deep red, they become an important part of the bouquet rather than simply something to sit behind the flowers.
Purple lisianthus might seem an unusual choice among all those oranges and yellows, but that’s why we use it. The deeper colour breaks up the warmer shades, while the lime santini brings little flashes of fresh green throughout.
Our florists keep the shape loose, working the oak leaves between the flowers and allowing some of the foliage to reach beyond the blooms. Look closely and you’ll find different colours appearing throughout the bouquet rather than sitting together in blocks.
